Department of pediatrics at Sree Avittom Thirunal caters largest number of patients in kerala. We deal with about 400 out patients and 200 causalities. We have well equipped pediatric and new born ICU with state of art facilities like multichannel monitor and ventilator. And about 15000 in patients per year. The foundation stone of this department laid on 13 July 1945 by his Excellency the honorable Sir Arthur Hope Then governor of madras.
